Security Guard III

Overview

Montech Inc. is seeking qualified applicants for the role of Security Guard III to provide security services in Albuquerque, NM.  The principal objective is to provide Guard services that includes, but not limited to perimeter patrols, parking lot monitoring, and assisting the public at entrance of facility. The purpose of Security Guard services is to provide a deterrent from criminal and inappropriate behavior on facility grounds which improves facility safety and increases awareness of changing security threats.

Place of Performance / Hours of Operation

The Security Guard III will provide physical security services Albuquerque, NM, Monday - Friday, 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM MT except weekends and Federal Holidays.

Summary of Responsibilities

The Security Guard III shall maintain an alert and professional posture providing a secure and safe lobby area, except when patrolling the facility grounds or responding to an incident. The Security Guard III shall:

• Personnel shall remain alert and immediately respond to security concerns or threats using their best judgment in each individual situation and coordinate with law enforcement and agency, as needed.
• Personnel shall prepare a daily log containing the following information:
• • Summarizing activities performed throughout the day.
  • Provide details on all events, incidents, and/or security concerns or threats which occurred.
  • Submit the log by 12:00 PM MT the next day.
• Communicate with chain of command for recommendations and/or guidance when addressing security concerns or threats to the facility, as necessary.

Qualifications

The Security Guard III shall:

• Shall have a high school diploma (or GED equivalent).
• Shall possess a minimum of one year of recent experience performing similar tasks/duties as required.
• Shall be able to demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate, both orally and in writing.
• Shall possess a Level 3 Security Guard Registration from the New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department.
• Be a citizen of the United States.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.

Security

Employment is contingent upon the ability to pass the pre-employment drug test and a federal security investigation (background check) in order to obtain a Department of the Interior Public Trust clearance (prior to start date). The background investigation reviews employment, criminal, financial, and personal history to ensure there are no outstanding violations. Applicants must be a U.S. Citizen to work in support of a federal agency.

Any notification from Government to Montech notifying that the employee has compromised the security requirements will warrant immediate termination from employment.
