Job Title: Security Guard Lead
Location: Greeley
DESCRIPTION:
Monitors plant activity.
Hourly rounds (checking trailer temps, room temps, and gates).
Monitor all associates entering and exiting building including car traffic.
Weight master scales, weighing trailers in and out.
Answering switchboard after hours.
Billing loads.
Follow and implement company policies.
Operate company owned vehicles
Inspect trailers for cleanliness and operability
Receive shipments of supplies and raw materials
Lead crew members
Maintain rules and regulations
Follow direct orders
Make schedules
Check paperwork
Make sure all posts are doing what is needed
Make sure all patrols and logs are completed
Report back to Manager
Make sure crew members are following call in protocols and all procedures
Make sure all logs at all posts are complete and filled out correctly
Oversee yard report and make corrections as needed
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read and write and speak in English
Strong computer skills preferred
Ability to walk more than one mile, on varying terrain, in all weather and up/down stairs
Ability to perform assigned tasks without direct supervision
Ability to strive in an independent work environment
Ability to communicate effectively under stress
Attention to detail
Professional attitude
Ability to work any shift
Security experience a plus
Minimum High School diploma or GED
Base rate: $20.25
