Security Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary/Company :

Sparks Group has partnered with an established financial services organization to identify a Security Infrastructure Engineer. As the Security Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for architecting, implementing, and the day-to-day administration activities respective to a specific portfolio of tools.

Responsibilities:

Administer, maintain, and secure critical systems across production and non-production environments. This includes backup/recovery, change management, capacity planning, and installations
Manage core security technologies like Forcepoint, Guardium, and Venafi. Implement data security policies using encryption, tokenization, and key management
Manage TCH keys and certificates using tools like Venafi and Entrust. Oversee the cryptographic device lifecycle and provide operational direction on cryptography
Identify and communicate security risks to management and business leaders. Ensure adherence to security best practices across the organization
Provide support to infrastructure teams, developers, and business users. Collaborate with Architecture to ensure project alignment and infrastructure continuity
Create and maintain technical documentation for stakeholders. Present key information to management and communicate effectively with partners
Qualifications/Background Profile :

B.S. degree in Computer Science/Engineering, MIS, or equivalent work-based experience
CISSP or equivalent InfoSec-related certifications
UNIX/Linux engineering background with solid scripting (shell, perl, python, expect) experience and/or equivalent Windows/PowerShell scripting skills
Solid understanding of core infrastructure components such as high availability/hyper-converged/federation/replication
Knowledgeable within the Infrastructure ecosystem in the execution of implementation initiatives, capacity management efforts, and design of high availability and backup & recover solutions
Positive track record of delivering large-scale complex projects & initiatives
Strong facilitation skills and ability to communicate with highly technical as well as non-technical partners
