Security Lead

As our Security Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our casino guests and employees. You will lead a team of security personnel to ensure that the casino resort is secure and compliant with local and state regulations. Your team will be the eyes and ears of the casino, and you will be responsible for identifying potential risks and preventing any criminal activity. You will also be responsible for responding to emergencies and implementing safety protocols. With your leadership and commitment to safety, you will help create a safe and secure environment for everyone at Little Creek.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform all security functions on shift basis.
• Supervise security shift employees.
• Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and gaming enterprise's internal controls.
• Review and approve all reports submitted by officers on his/her shift.
• Enforce Squaxin Island Gaming Enterprise and regulatory laws and requirements.
• Maintain constant vigilance to ensure the safety of patrons and employees and company property.
• Watch participants in games such as dice or cards to detect cheating, identify rule violations, and observe persons designated by superior.
• Speak or signal to supervising personnel using hand, telephone two-way radio, or voice to identify and supply information about suspected violations.
• May transfer monies, chips, and documentation within the casino.
• Promote public safety and helps to ensure a safe working environment for Security Staff and all LCCH employees.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Two years of law enforcement, commercial or military security experience.
• OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to pass a background check.
• Requires a Valid Washington State Driver License and must be insurable on the Tribe’s insurance.
