The Job (Lead Installer/Lead Service Technician)

Main Duties and Responsibilities

-Install alarm, CCTV and access systems, supervise an installation crew
-Perform service calls on alarm, CCTV and access systems
-Develop into a project manager for larger jobs
-Develop management skills and assume management responsibilities as abilities allow
-Other duties as assigned

Other Experience/Abilities (Qualifications)

· Strong network knowledge (i.e., IP addresses, network connections, port forwarding, TELNET)

Must have a valid Driver's License and a good driving record (DMV records pulled)

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

MUST possess good time management skills

Must pass a pre-employment drug test and criminal background check

Must be physically able to perform job functions

Must be organized and well-groomed

Must possess basic computer skills

Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills required

Must communicate effectively via email, phone, etc

and respond quickly and accurately to Supervisors/Management and other staff

Adaptability and being able to work in a team environment as well as independently

Ability to handle various tasks simultaneously, organize, prioritize, make decisions, and work efficiently and effectively under deadlines as required

Cannot be afraid of heights

Must be willing to work varying shifts and hours including possible mandatory overtime, weekends, and holidays

Maintain a positive attitude
