Job Description

Essential Job Functions

Strive to keep all CCV campuses at the cutting edge as it relates to security and safety.

Direct oversight of the CCV Command Center

Recruit, train, resource and lead a team of Safety and Security Volunteers across any of the CCV campuses.

Conduct security evaluations, supervise security staff members/volunteers, awhile fostering a strong team culture

Develop and implement security protocols

Create and coordinate emergency response procedures

Gifted in skillful communication tactics with a high capacity to stay composed in confrontational and tense situations

Strong ability to handle confidential matters and material with utmost excellence and professionalism

Excellent task management skills that ensure effective and timely results

Customer service oriented and a clear heart to serve others

A passion for reaching the lost

Personal integrity in all areas of life

Must be – or willing to become – a participating member of CCV

Regularly attends worship services with their family

Is an active participant in a neighborhood group, a transformation group and is a regular tither

Interpersonal Skills – relates well to all kinds of people and builds effective relationships, communicates effectively both interpersonally and corporately.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Criminal Justice, Public Administration preferred.

Job experience in a law enforcement capacity may be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree.

Must be over 21 years old

Be able to successfully pass a background check.

Knowledge of technical Safety & Security systems including IT, EXACQ Vision, Open Eye, video cameras, radio systems, intrusion alarm systems and Alert Media mass communication platform as well as a thorough understanding of complex safety & security programs.

Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Docs and PowerPoint.

Must be able to perform vigorous physical tasks that will often include long periods of standing, movement, etc.

Ability to communicate clearly in order to direct others.

Ability to work in a team setting

Ability to move quickly and efficiently during critical periods.

The ability to thrive in fast-paced environments

Obtaining Firearms training and qualification within 6 months of hire date
