Headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, SRC Private Security provides licensed security officers trained to protect people and assets in many different capacities. Established in January of 1997, SRC offers uniformed, armed, unarmed, stationary and mobile officer services in the greater Seattle area.

Our Approach
All our team members have been thoroughly trained and certified, and we assemble a unique security team for each client depending on their unique needs. Then, communicating with them in detail on an ongoing basis, we remain accountable for our performance from commencement to end of service.

Providing qualified, trained officers has always been SRC Private Security’s first priority, and over 90% of our officers have previous security, law enforcement or military experience. We employ a comprehensive pre-employment screening process including checking references, previous employment history and criminal background, and we perform an illicit drug test and a DMV check for anyone who may be asked to drive a company vehicle.

Our Training Process
All pre-assignment training is conducted in-house by or at the direction of one of our Washington State Certified Trainers, and the training consists of two phases. The classroom phase includes a comprehensive review of SRC’s policy manual and handbook, as well as lectures and multimedia presentations. The trainee must achieve a passing score on the Washington State Private Security Guards pre-assignment exam before moving on to field training. Then our field training consists of shadowing one of our seasoned officers in his or her regular duties until the trainer is confident the trainee is ready to perform well on his or her own. Once all training is completed, the new hire will be licensed and assigned based on background and prior training.

SRC trains and tests all officers with regular modules covering a wide range of security and safety-related issues. Officers are encouraged and often required to take CPR, first aid and other courses, and receive pepper spray training. Many also train or have received training in other forms of self-defense.
