Job Description - Security Officer


  

The Security Officer is responsible for implementing efficient security strategies to safeguard our organization’s staff and assets and maintaining a secure work environment.


Requirements

  

Education:  High School Diploma or Equivalent Education/Experience. Prior security or law enforcement experience preferred.   

Experience:  Proven experience as security or similar position

Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. radios)

Experience in report writing and proper grammar usage.

Specific Skills: Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures  Solid understanding of de-escalation techniques.   Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Outstanding organizational and leadership skills

Committed and reliable

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of MS Office

Certificates: BLS certification – required within 3 month introductory period.

Licenses:  N/A
