This position is ideal for a professional who is observant, dependable, and service-oriented, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and respond effectively to a variety of situations. The Security Officer will proactively patrol the hotel, monitor safety and security systems, respond to guest and associate concerns, investigate incidents, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures. Working closely with all departments, this role is instrumental in maintaining a safe, secure, and positive environment that reflects the high standards of Crowne Plaza North Augusta and StepStone Hospitality.

• Patrol lobby, corridors, and common areas.
• Confer with management, interview guests, associates, and others to detect infringements, disturbances, complaints, theft, vandalism, etc.
• Patrol public areas to detect fires, unsafe conditions, and damaged or inoperative safety equipment.
• Warn or eject troublemakers and caution careless persons.
• Obtain assistance for accident victims and file accident reports.
• Notify staff of presence of persons with questionable reputations.
• Assist management and enforcement officers in emergency situations.
• Enter and check rooms of guests suspected of nonpayment of bill to confirm suspicions and remove remaining personal property.
• Establish and supervise operational procedures for activities such as fire prevention and fighting, traffic control, guarding and patrolling physical property, orienting and monitoring personnel involved with classified information, and investigation of accidents and criminal acts.
• Respond and resolve guest requests, complaints, or questions in a courteous and timely manner.
