Security Officer

Job Summary: 

At Deepest Cut Hospitality our security guard maintains a professional, courteous and attentive demeanor. He or she inspects various sections of the establishment, from the bathrooms to the establishment itself, to ensure safety. Patrols the establishment to look for any threats to the establishments security, identifies rowdy patrons and if needed ejects them from the establishment if they are a nuisance to staff or patrons. Monitors the occupancy to ensure it doesn't exceed maximum capacity. He or she also inspects the identification of patrons to prevent underage individuals from entering, monitors entrances and exits and ensures that individuals who have been banned do not get into the establishment. Resolves conflicts respectfully and restrains anyone who gets into a fight. Ensures patrons' welfare while visiting our establishment. The guard also writes up reports of incidents for record-keeping purposes. Must have a willingness to perform other duties as required that are necessary to support the business.

Responsibilities and Duties:

• 
  Ensure a safe environment through a team effort of diligent active patrol, strict access control, and monitoring.


• 
  Inspects various sections of the establishment, from bathrooms to the establishment itself.


• Identifying any unsafe conditions within the establishment and ensure proper handling.


• 
  Checking for signs of intoxication and removing obviously intoxicated patrons from the premises. 


• 
  Inspects the identification of patrons to prevent underage individuals from entering.


• 
  Monitors entrances and exits and ensures that individuals who have been banned do not get into the establishment.


• 
  Resolves conflicts and restrains anyone who gets into a fight, takes care of patrons' welfare.


• 
  Be visible and observant at all times, greeting staff, guests, and vendors in a courteous and attentive manner.


• 
  Respond immediately to distress calls, and emergency calls for disorderly conduct, disruptive persons, and incidents swiftly and appropriately.


• 
  Maintain the company’s reputation with professionalism and legal compliance.


• 
  Collaborate with other security officers for effective protection and coverage.


• Writes up reports of incidents that take place for record.
