As a Security Officer Access Control in Middlesboro, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. In this access control role, you will remain visible, communicate clearly, and help to deter security-related incidents while delivering great customer service. Pay Rate: $15.38 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at the location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor check-in processes, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production-related areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Document daily activities, access-related events, and unusual observations, and report security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and/or policy violations according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
