As a Security Officer Access Control in Little Rock, AR, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic education location where you will monitor entrances and assigned areas, support access control procedures, verify badges, and remain visible to help deter security-related concerns. This role blends customer service and communication with routine patrols and a people-first approach. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or visitor credentials, and document arrivals, departures, and deliveries in accordance with location guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with school personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around campus buildings, entry points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
