As a Security Officer Access Control in North Canton, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional environment through visible presence, routine patrols, and strong communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, visitor management protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or authorizations, and document visitor, contractor, and delivery activity in accordance with location policies.
• Respond to incidents, access-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating issues through proper communication channels as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, paying close attention to doors, gates, badge-controlled areas, and other sensitive locations.
• Support security-related operations at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location by reporting unusual activity, assisting with directions, and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid are preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
