Security Officer Access Control Morning Shift

As a Security Officer Access Control in West Finley, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support site operations through strong communication and professional presence. In this role, you will help to deter security-related incidents while providing exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and document visitor activity to support access control and other security-related procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, operational areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify conditions that may require attention.
• Complete logs, reports, and/or pass-down communications related to access activity, incidents, and daily operations in accordance with Allied Universal and site guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
