As a Security Officer Access Screening in Riverview, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, manage visitor access, and support daily security-related operations. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter incidents while delivering strong customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, contractors, and employees by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, screening entry and exit activity, and/or supporting emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor entrances, gates, credential checks, and visitor logs to help regulate authorized access to the location and report unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to restricted areas, entry points, and other sensitive locations where conditions may vary.
• Support security-related operations at a chemical and petrochemical location by following post orders, observing site rules, and reporting hazards, maintenance concerns, and/or policy violations.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
