Security Officer Access Specialist

As a Security Officer Access Specialist in Junction City, KS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic food and beverage location where you will manage access control, monitor entry activity, and support a secure and welcoming environment. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $18.45 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and maintain required access records to help support security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Assist with screening incoming deliveries, vehicles, and/or contractors in accordance with site procedures to help support authorized access and security-related compliance.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
