Security Officer Afternoon Patrol - Parking Garage

As a Security Officer Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Officer at a busy transportation location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, patrons, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, answering questions, and assisting with routine concerns in parking facilities and transportation-related locations.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout parking garages, surface lots, walkways, stairwells, entrances, exits, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual activity and/or security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, traffic flow, and parking activity, report maintenance issues and policy violations, and document observations, incidents, and security-related matters according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
