As a Security Officer Badge Verification Patrol in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a dynamic tech and communications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support access awareness while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other assigned areas, verifying credentials and/or visitor information in accordance with site policies and security-related procedures.
• Support security-related operations by preparing incident reports, noting maintenance or environmental concerns, and sharing observations with supervisors and/or designated site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
