As a Security Officer Controlled Entry in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, monitor activity, and support security-related operations with professionalism and care. In this role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entry and exit activity at the location.
• Monitor gates, entrances, badges, and visitor logs to help support authorized access, report irregular activity, and communicate security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including directing individuals according to post orders and contacting emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, docks, trailer yards, and perimeter areas, while observing for unusual conditions and reporting maintenance and/or security-related issues.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by helping manage visitor and vehicle access, maintaining required records, and following established procedures for deliveries, pickups, and restricted areas.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
