Security Officer Driver Patrol Support

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Support in Commercial Point, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and offers the chance to support daily operations with agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity in a people-first culture.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, customers, and store personnel by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, location policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail location, sales floor areas, entrances, exits, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor for policy violations, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance or access concerns, and report observations to the appropriate site representatives in a timely manner.
• Support store closing and opening activities, crowd flow, and/or after-hours access control as directed by location procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
