Security Officer Driving Patrol Duty

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol Duty in Skillman, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. At a prominent commercial real estate location, our unarmed patrol officers monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. This is a driving post, requiring a valid driver's license under Allied Universal driver policy requirements. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, noting unusual activity and/or maintenance-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and building activity to help support authorized entry, visitor processing, and adherence to location rules and procedures.
• Assist with incident reporting, daily activity logs, and communication with property management and/or Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
