Security Officer - Full time

Description

Arms Acres in Carmel, NY Inpatient/Outpatient is seeking individuals for their Security Department. The Security Officers are responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment for Arms Acres patients, employees and visitors according to facility policies and licensing guidelines. Investigates and provides written reports on action taken on complaints and disturbances. Security Officer secures the buildings and equipment from loss or abuse.

Schedule - Sun, Mon, Tues and alternating Wed - 6a- 6:30p

Requirements

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Prior training in security, law enforcement
• Valid Driver's License
• Fluently read and write English with an ability to understand and execute verbal instructions
• New York State Security Guard License
• Knowledge of basic security and fire inspection procedures
• Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office Word and Excel
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• BLS or CPR preferred
