Security Officer - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Full Time in Boerne, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In a role shaped by teamwork and integrity, you will support daily operations with a reliable, caring, and innovative approach.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activity support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout loading areas, shipping and receiving zones, parking lots, trailer yards, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity for personnel, visitors, and/or delivery drivers, verify credentials and shipment-related information as directed by site policies, and report unusual activity or policy violations.
• Support daily operations by observing vehicle traffic, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and assisting with order and access control during busy periods, shift changes, and/or after-hours activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
