As a Security Officer Full Time Access Control in Maple Grove, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will manage access control, monitor assigned areas, and conduct routine patrols to help support a secure environment. Pay Rate: $18.53 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all visitors, drivers, and/or employees by following site-specific access control procedures, verifying credentials, and directing authorized individuals at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries, helping to deter unauthorized access and reporting unusual activity according to post orders and client guidelines.
• Respond to incidents, access issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership, emergency services, and/or Allied Universal management when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, truck entry information, and/or incident documentation to support daily operations and security-related reporting requirements.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing loading areas, parking locations, and high-traffic zones where working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED.
• Be 21+ years of age.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
