Security Officer - Gate Access

As a in Security Officer - Gate Access Verdi, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal in a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location as an Access Control Officer, helping manage entry points, verify badges and credentials, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will deliver outstanding customer service and communication while supporting a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, maintain required logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with security-related inquiries and following post orders for restricted areas and controlled access points.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to gates, parking areas, production-adjacent spaces, and other locations where access control support may help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
