As a Security Officer - Logistics Site in Port Saint Lucie, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen people and property, support badge and access activities, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out screening procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or materials entering or leaving the location in accordance with post instructions and established screening protocols.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, entrances, loading zones, and perimeter locations to help identify unauthorized activity and support security-related operations.
• Prepare clear reports on screening results, incidents, and unusual activity, and communicate relevant information with site personnel and/or Allied Universal representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
