As a Security Officer - Medical Center - Full Time in Ft Walton Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and restricted areas, assisting with access control, visitor direction, and other security-related support functions for daily operations.
• Support staff and visitors during medical emergencies, facility alerts, and/or other urgent events by following post orders and communicating with supervisors and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• A minimum of 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Must meet hospital vaccine requirements.
• Must be able to work in and around a hospital morgue.
• Must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• A minimum of 2 years of service in a healthcare or medical-related field is required.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
