As a Security Officer Overnight Screener  in Ontario, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor access points, screen people and/or vehicles, and support security-related operations through visible presence and strong communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by following site-specific screening procedures, access protocols, and applicable emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Perform screening activities for people, packages, shipments, and/or vehicles entering or leaving the location, helping to identify prohibited items, irregularities, and other security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to supervisors, site contacts, and/or local responders as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, loading and unloading zones, entrances, exits, and perimeter locations, with working conditions varying by site.
• Prepare accurate logs, screening records, and incident reports, and help to support compliance with operational procedures, chain of custody expectations, and other site-specific security-related policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
