As a Security Officer Patrol Afternoon  in Delta, UT, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service and communication while bringing our values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every interaction.

Pay Rate: $20.72 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or public emergency personnel as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and report suspicious behavior, maintenance concerns, or policy violations to the appropriate site representative.
• Support site operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining accurate activity logs, and following post orders related to utility infrastructure, restricted areas, and after-hours access.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
