As a Security Officer Patrol Deterrence in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and a caring approach while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative mindset to every shift.

Pay Rate: $22.32 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document observations in accordance with site guidelines.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the industrial location, including production-adjacent areas, access points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access attempts, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations to the appropriate contacts.
• Support a professional work environment by communicating with site personnel, following post orders, and helping to deter disruptions, property damage, and/or trespassing through a visible presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
