Security Officer Protective Patrol

As a Security Officer Protective Patrol in Denver, CO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a welcoming environment while responding to site needs with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related protocols for a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with property management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the building, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance and/or access concerns.
• Monitor entrances, lobbies, and other designated areas, verify credentials when required, and document security-related incidents, observations, and/or daily activities in required reports.
• Support emergency response activities, assist with access control and visitor-related procedures, and provide clear directions during alarms, evacuations, and/or other property-related events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 2 years of law enforcement, military police, and/or corrections experience.
• Provide proof of high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
