Security Officer Screener- Warehouse

As a Security Officer Screener in Carencro, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, helping support smooth operations through screening activities, visible presence, routine patrols, and strong customer service. In this role, you will help identify security-related concerns, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and contribute to a caring, agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Screen employees, visitors, packages, and/or vehicles entering or exiting the location in accordance with site procedures and reporting protocols.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of designated areas, entry points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, policy violations, and/or operational concerns.
• Maintain accurate logs, screening records, and incident documentation, and support orderly traffic flow at checkpoints, loading areas, and/or access control points.

Minimum Requirements:

• X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
