As a Security Officer Screening Specialist I in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, helping monitor entry points, screen visitors and/or team members, and support access control activities. In this role, you will remain visible, communicate with professionalism, and help discourage security-related incidents while delivering strong customer service. Pay Rate: $15.70 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, screening activities, and/or appropriate emergency response actions at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders and client-specific screening protocols.
• Monitor access points and verify identification, credentials, and/or shipping documentation to help support authorized entry and movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to site leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, noting hazards, unsecured areas, and/or policy concerns and communicating them through proper channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
