As a Security Officer Site Access in Pooler, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener in a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor access points, screen visitors and/or team members, and support security-related procedures with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related screening procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Screen individuals, packages, bags, and/or personal items entering or leaving the location in accordance with post orders, client procedures, and applicable screening protocols.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vendor, and/or delivery activity to help support orderly operations at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, prohibited item findings, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate reporting channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity, policy concerns, and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
