As a Security Officer Unarmed Area Patrol in Greensburg, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a healthcare location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents, and support staff, patients, and visitors with outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will bring a caring, reliable approach, work with integrity, and contribute to a team focused on people-first service.

Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual behavior.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to control access, observe visitor activity, and/or report security-related concerns according to site protocols.
• Support staff, patients, and visitors with directions, information, and/or assistance during routine operations, high-traffic periods, and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
