As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Associate in Olive Branch, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support daily operations with professionalism in a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and people first, while always acting with integrity.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and communications location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and sharing relevant information with Allied Universal leadership and/or site contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, common areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
• Monitor doors, gates, alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems, and report maintenance issues, suspicious activity, and policy violations according to post instructions.
• Support badge checks, visitor processing, deliveries, and/or after-hours access requests while following site protocols and providing courteous assistance to people at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
