As a Security Officer Welcome Desk in Springfield, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location where you will serve as the front desk presence, greeting visitors, managing access, and supporting security-related procedures with professionalism and care. In this stationary role, you will help create a welcoming environment through strong communication, attention to detail, and customer service, while reflecting Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or contractors by following site-specific procedures and front desk protocols at a technology-focused location.
• Monitor access to the lobby and reception area, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and/or maintain visitor logs in support of security-related operations.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel when needed.
• Answer phones, assist with directions, and/or communicate with building staff regarding deliveries, appointments, and other front desk activity.
• Observe the reception area and entry points for conditions that may help to deter unauthorized access, and report concerns according to site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
