Security Officer with Patrol Experience

As a Security Officer with Patrol Experience in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. At a dynamic tech, media, and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this unarmed patrol role, you will support daily operations with professionalism and integrity while working as part of an agile, reliable, and innovative team that puts people first and delivers through teamwork.

Pay Rate: $16.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office, production, and/or campus-style areas, as well as around building perimeters and parking locations.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and delivery traffic to help support authorized entry and help to deter unauthorized access within a technology-focused location.
• Report maintenance concerns, suspicious activity, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel while following Allied Universal and location guidelines.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
