Security Technician - Tucson, AZ

We are looking for an experienced Security Technician to join our growing team. If you're proficient in security system installation, troubleshooting, and network cabling, with a passion for safety and teamwork, we want to hear from you! 

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and troubleshoot security systems, including panels and cabling.

• Work on diverse projects, including government, multi-family, commercial and industrial sites.

• Lead and collaborate with team members, ensuring clear documentation and organization.

• Implement and maintain security systems, meeting quality expectations and client requirements.
• Work collaboratively with clients, architects, and engineers to understand and meet project needs.
• Craft detailed work plans for security system installation and maintenance, organizing resources and timelines effectively.
• Offer hands-on technical support, troubleshooting issues that arise in security systems.
• Adhere to safety codes and industry best practices during all tasks.
• Handle aspects of financial tracking, including timekeeping, invoicing, and expense monitoring to support project financial health and client trust.

Qualifications:

•  5+ years of experience in the security/communications industry.

• Certified and has experience with Lenel & Milestone

• Proficiency with tools, test equipment, and certifications like I-Pro, Dorma Kaba, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, Lenel, CCure, Avigilon, or fiber optics (preferred).

• Has experience working on access control and cameras.

• Strong communication, critical thinking, and math skills.

• Valid drivers license and OSHA 10 certification (OSHA 30 is a plus).

• Computer and smartphone proficiency.

Pay: $30.00 - $42.00 per hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours/week
