NAEYC Accredited center in North St. Louis County with Head Start & Early Head Start has openings in the following positions:
- Infant & Toddler Teacher
- Preschool Teacher Assistant
- Preschool Teacher
- Part-time Assistants/Floater
We are looking for teachers to join our team that want to provide quality education in North St. Louis County. We believe in building relationships with the whole child and family.
Desired teacher should demonstrate the following characteristics:
- Be Energetic, Patient, Creative, and have a Love for children
- Have an understanding of educating the whole child and classroom management
- Be dependable, flexible and reliable
- Ability to multi-task and have good time management
- Ability to problem solve, communicate well with others, work well with others and part of a team
The desired teacher must also:
- Have minimum 2 years' experience working with children preferably infants/toddlers & 2 year olds
- Experience and understanding with Head Start and Early Head start
- Have a minimum 12 college credit hours in Early Childhood or CDA
- Associates Degree preferred
- Have an understanding of assessments ,documentation, lesson planning, classroom management and developmentally appropriate practices.
- Physical, TB screening , Background check including fingerprints required
