DSSW: Seeking Tier 1/Onboarding Coordinator for San Antonio (78201)
Position Overview:
The Tier 1/Onboarding Coordinator is an entry-level multifaceted role that combines administrative support with onboarding coordination responsibilities within the company. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth administrative operations and efficient onboarding processes for new employees joining the company. The role involves a blend of administrative tasks, coordination of onboarding activities, and providing general IT support to end users.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Administrative Support:
- Organize and maintain department records, files, and documents.
- Assist with managing databases, spreadsheets, and inventory lists.
- Prepare reports, presentations, and correspondence for the IT department.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to IT projects, expenses, and assets.
2. Onboarding Coordination:
- Serve as the main point of contact for new employees during the onboarding process.
- Coordinate the logistics of new employee onboarding, including workspace setup, equipment provisioning, and system access.
- Deploy and install hardware needed for new hires to complete the onboarding process
- Liaise with HR and other departments to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
- Facilitate orientation sessions to familiarize new hires with company policies, IT procedures, and resources.
- Assist with the preparation and dissemination of onboarding materials and documentation.
- Provide basic technical support and guidance to new onboarding employees.
- Assist with user account setup, access rights, and permissions needed for new hires.
3. Tier 1 support
- basic understanding of computer systems, operating systems, and hardware components.
- ability to analyze and troubleshoot technical issues effectively, using logical reasoning and critical thinking.

Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent (additional certifications or relevant training is a plus).
- Proven experience in an administrative or support role, preferably with exposure to onboarding coordination.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with individuals at all levels.
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.
- Proficiency in using office productivity tools, such as word processors, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team-oriented environment.
- Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and skills.
- Familiarity with onboarding processes and coordination is highly desirable.
