Job Description - Select Solder Operator

Duties/Requirements

Operate electromechanical solder equipment used in the assembly of electronic circuit boards in a manufacturing environment.

Program machines as required to perform soldering applications to IPC-A-610 acceptability standards

Monitor the assembly process and make any corrective actions to ensure target defect goals

Soldering knowledge and skills required

Working knowledge of component identification

Must be able to use a microscope

Able to work well with others and follow written instructions

Able to work overtime when required

Skills/Experience/Education/Training Required

Min. two (2) years' experience in electronics manufacturing environment

IPC 610 / J-STD 001 Certification preferred.

High School Diploma or Equivalent

US Citizenship required.
