Purpose:
To assist in the creation and training of a cohesive team that will provide quality supports and
services within the Self-Direction Department. The Specialist will provide a positive environment while building person-centered professionals that will have a basic understanding of Self- Direction. The Specialist and support new employees as they transition from new-hire training to their new role within Self-Direction. To provide education, training, and inspire to all new and current AIM Services Self-Direction staff. Actively support and model professional communication and expectations to new staff. Periodic and as needed training and support to current employees.
