This is where curiosity, experimentation, and impact come together.\n\nAs a Photolithography Engineer you will play a key role in developing and integrating Low and High NA EUV lithography processes that directly shape future memory technologies. You will work hands-on with tools, materials, layouts, and data, while collaborating with global partners to move innovations from R\u0026D into high-volume manufacturing. This role offers broad technical exposure and the opportunity to influence device performance, yield, and cost at scale.\n\nThis role is full time at the NYCreates site in Albany, New York. You will collaborate with our Technology Development (TD) teams in Boise and Hiroshima to benchmark Low and High NA EUV lithography and enable Micron\u2019s technical roadmap. NYCreates is a diverse consortium, and you will have many opportunities to work closely with suppliers and other companies while protecting Micron\u2019s intellectual property (IP). \n\nResponsibilities:\n\n * Develop and integrate photolithography unit processes for advanced memory technologies\n * Perform material evaluations, reticle and layout development, OPC, overlay optimization, and process window analysis\n * Drive yield improvement, failure analysis, and device performance optimization\n * Partner with equipment vendors to evaluate tools and improve process capability\n * Document processes, communicate results, and support technology transfer to manufacturing\n\n\n\nMinimum Qualifications:\n\n * M.S. or Ph.D. in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical Degree relevant to Photolithography and Process Development.\n * B.S. with 3+ years semiconductor processing experience with emphasis on Lithography will also be considered. \n * Experience in photolithography or semiconductor process development\n * Working knowledge of process characterization, data analysis, and statistical methods\n * Ability to collaborate across cross-functional technical teams\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Experience with advanced lithography techniques, especially High NA EUV, OPC, or overlay optimization\n * Familiarity with process integration and high-volume manufacturing support\n * Experience working with semiconductor equipment vendors or R\u0026D environments\n\n\n\nJob Profile(s):\n\nSemiconductor Process Engineer 4\n\nRelocation Level: TBD\n\nBefore Getting Started \nPlease review Micron\u2019s Internal Job Application Policy on your regional PeopleNow Career Opportunities page before searching and applying for jobs. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs.
