Semi-Skilled Auto Technician

Phillips Chevrolet of Lansing, IL is currently looking for a full-time, motivated, enthusiastic, Semi-skilled Service Technician. We are expanding our service department with brand new equipment and looking to build our future.... starting with you!!  1 year automotive repair experience preferred.

During the week hours will be from 8:00am-5:00pm and must be able to work on Saturdays as well with one day off during week.

Responsibilities

• Perform all types of automotive preventive maintenance


• Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections and identify needed service and repairs


• Attend provided online and in person GM training


• Perform recalls, trim repair, basic diagnostics of the following systems: Electronics, steering & suspension, brakes, alignments & HVAC

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of auto-tech experience


• Strong teamwork skills


• Computer proficient


• Basic ASE certifications a plus but not required


• Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check


• Must have clean & valid driver's licenses
