Job Description - Senior Account Director

Senior Account Director • Cincinnati United States
The Senior Account Director will understand client business and performance complexities to develop digital creative strategies that drive business outcomes. The role contributes expertise and leadership at the intersection of creative, data, and digital media. Your strong points will be understanding the nuances of the client’s business, creative insights, data storytelling, and creating structure and process for the robust internal team. You will build relationships with senior clients, championing the vision and positioning a sound strategy for organic revenue growth, developing scopes of work where applicable.
You will coach and inspire the growth and development of junior agency staff via providing consistent
feedback, training, and growth opportunities. You are future thinking about how you and your team operates relating to client work, in the spirit of identifying and creating opportunities.
Responsibilities:

Oversees large clients or multiple medium sized clients with little to no oversight.
Manages the health and progress of brands against KPIs, revenue, and internal Media.Monks goals.
Manages teams and holds responsibility for their growth path including new experiences and coaching. Leads by example with impact beyond direct reports and immediate colleagues.
Seeks out new opportunities within the client organization in addition to with direct clients.
Ensures quality of work is up to Media.Monks standards.
Assists Group Account Director with annual planning.
Onboards and trains new people.
Will regularly be involved with new business pitches.
Aligns with clients who are VPs, department head level and higher.
Proactively assesses business health and operations based on campaign and brand level through the lens of teams, work, relationship and finances.
Responsible for tracking revenue, driving efficiencies and overall burn against business.
Provides strategic guidance to clients as a trusted advisor
About You

Fluent in discussing creative, strategy and in navigating organizations to get to better creative output

A good listener, someone who reads people and those in a room well (and adapts their style and response accordingly)
Ability to head off potential conflicts and problems before they materialize
Strong and creative problem solving skills
Prior experience supervising and mentoring direct reports
Prior experience with digital and social required
Prior experience with CPG is nice to have
Must be located in Cincinnati or willing to relocate

Media.Monks has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what Media.Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Media.Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job-related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.
Salary Range$85,000—$100,000 USD
