Job Description - Senior Account Executive, Health Comms

About Us

At We., we've spent decades at the intersection of technology and humanity, bridging the gap between what businesses create and how people experience those creations. We've learned that beneath even the most unruly situations — whether it's a global crisis, an emerging technology, or a sweeping organizational change—lies a simple human need. That need could be for trust, connection, safety, or a sense of purpose. But it’s always there. And it is only by uncovering these truths that we can make real, meaningful progress.

About the Role

Would you like to be on the forefront of what’s next in health and health technology, helping clients communicate their advancements in science, technology and more in bold, unconventional ways?

Our team sits at the intersection of profound change in healthcare. Big data, personalized care, digital medicine - it’s all a tidal wave of implications and opportunity. Even better, the new world of healthcare puts patients at the center.

We. Global Health provides a breadth of communications services to clients across sectors including consumer health and wellness, health IT, medical devices, pharmaceuticals and life sciences. We develop innovative programs that reach and influence physicians, advocates, patients, regulators, policy makers, payors and the consumers at the center of it all.

Come join us at a different kind of healthcare practice.  We.’s Health Sector was formed by leaders in the industry who got tired of the old way.  Our approach is why were recognized as “Outstanding Agency Practice” at the 2025 U.S. PRWeek Healthcare Awards and why our team cranks out award-winning work. This is how we are different:

  • We have an entrepreneurial spirit, supported by deep “big agency” resources

  • We are taking brand new, progressive communications approaches in a rapidly evolving healthcare landscape, to attract the kind of clients who are innovators and want to be disruptors in the industry

  • The leadership team is extremely hands-on and members at every level will “roll up their sleeves” and help each other out.  There are no formalities – everyone can be themselves.

  • No bureaucratic processes, politics or “swim lanes” to hold staff back from opportunities; if you want to do it, we will give you the chance to prove you can.

As a Senior Account Executive, you will help drive high profile campaigns, serve as a day-to-day partner for clients and internal teams, and execute integrated communications programs that influence stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem.

The ideal candidate is someone who thrives in an environment where enthusiasm, creativity and curiosity are valued. Key to success in this role are a passion for client service, a sense of urgency, critical thinking/problem solving and a steady stream of ideas!

The team is prioritizing candidates on the East Coast (or willing to work East Coast hours from other locations where We. is registered to do business.)

Responsibilities

  • Serving as day-to-day counsel to clients and agency stakeholders and providing tactical recommendations

  • Supporting the development and flawless execution of all program elements across multichannel programs that incorporate digital and social media communications

  • Anticipating client needs, helping to manage client expectations and satisfaction; assuring alignment across workstreams

Technical skills:

  • Drafting and refining client-ready materials including media materials, sponsored content, blog posts, social media posts

  • Identifying, creating, and growing relationships with target media/influencers to appropriately engage, pitch, and build news stories

  • Working with creative and digital teams to guide development of designed pieces/video

  • Managing timelines and project logistics in a fast-paced team environment (frequent tight deadlines, multitasking, etc.)

  • Maintaining strong attention to detail and ensuring quality across deliverables
