About the Role

PMK Entertainment is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our Talent PR team. This role is ideal for a communications professional who is deeply connected to entertainment, media, and culture, with experience supporting high-profile talent, actors, creators, executives, and entertainment personalities.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, understands the nuances of talent representation and publicity, and has strong media relationships across entertainment, lifestyle, and pop culture outlets. You’ll play a key role in executing strategic publicity campaigns, managing day-to-day client communications, and helping drive visibility for talent across music, books, events, film and television, and faith-based.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of strategic publicity campaigns for talent clients across entertainment, lifestyle, and culture.
  • Manage day-to-day account responsibilities, including media outreach, interview coordination, press schedules, client updates, and campaign tracking.
  • Draft press materials, including press releases, media pitches, talking points, and event submissions with strong attention to detail and voice.
  • Proactively secure media opportunities, including feature stories, interviews, profiles, podcast placements, event coverage, and red-carpet opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with entertainment, celebrity, lifestyle, and trade media.
  • Coordinate press appearances, premieres, events, music tours, book launches, and award campaign logistics as needed.
  • Monitor media coverage and provide timely reporting, recaps, and strategic insights to clients and internal teams.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with social, influencer, brand partnerships, and digital teams to support integrated visibility opportunities for clients.
  • Stay current on entertainment news, pop culture, industry trends, and emerging media platforms.
  • Contribute fresh ideas and strategic thinking to help elevate client profiles and identify new opportunities.

Requirements

The Ideal Candidate

  • 4+ years of experience in entertainment public relations or talent publicity; agency experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting talent clients.
  • Strong entertainment media relationships and demonstrated success securing press coverage.
  • Excellent writing, pitching, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and manage multiple clients, projects, and timelines simultaneously.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with strong client service instincts.
  • Deep understanding of entertainment, social media, and the evolving media landscape.
  • Enthusiastic about working in fast-moving environments including events, interviews, premieres, press junkets, and high-profile moments.
  • A collaborative team player who is resourceful, adaptable, and eager to grow within the entertainment PR industry.
  • Fluency with AI and productivity tools that enhance media monitoring, research, writing, and campaign execution, including but not limited to: Muck Rack, Mailchimp and Podchaser.

Salary Range: $70,500 - $75,000

Where an employee or prospective employee is paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, actual ranges for current/former employees in the subject position; market considerations; budgetary considerations; tenure and standing with the company (applicable to current employees); as well as the employee’s/applicant’s background, pertinent experience, and qualifications.
