Senior Accountant

We're driven by purpose, grounded in innovation, and growing rapidly. As our business expands, we're seeking a Senior Accountant to support our Finance team in managing financial operations, enhancing reporting accuracy, and partnering across departments to support sound business decisions.

The Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of financial reporting and analysis, while supporting commercial and operational finance functions. This position will partner closely with the VP of Finance, cross-functional teams, and the global accounting team to maintain a strong control environment, enhance financial visibility, and support scalable growth.

This position is located in Lincoln, NE and is a hands-on role with broad responsibilities including accounting operations, month-end close, reporting, and process improvement.

• Support and manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial statements

• Prepare, review, and maintain account reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts, including cash, accounts receivable, deferred revenue, accrued liabilities, and prepaid expenses

• Investigate and resolve discrepancies or reconciling items in a timely and accurate manner

• Utilize NetSuite to manage reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting workflows efficiently

• Collaborate with the global accounting team to ensure consistency and accuracy across international reconciliations and reporting

• Assist in developing and maintaining financial reporting packages

• Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements with various tax authorities

• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

• Drive continuous improvement in accounting processes and financial operations

• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of relevant experience in accounting, financial reporting, or finance operations

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field;

• Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls

• Software / SaaS industry experience preferred 

• Experience with financial systems and tools preferred (Netsuite, Salesforce, Excel)

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills

• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
