Senior Accountant

A growing software company in San Francisco is seeking a Senior Accountant for a temporary assignment supporting their corporate finance team. This role will report directly to the Controller and work closely with the CFO. The ideal candidate will have strong full-cycle accounting experience and a public accounting background.

Compensation: up to $115,000.

• Perform day-to-day corporate accounting functions
• Prepare and post journal entries (JE’s)
• Review accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
• Assist with tax-related processes and filings
• Support month-end and quarter-end close activities
• Help maintain accurate financial records and reporting

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Public accounting experience (Big 4 or equivalent) required
• 4–6 years of relevant accounting experience
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
